About
Colleen Emery is a nonprofit founder, strategist, and facilitator who brings almost a decade of executive leadership experience to her consulting work. As the founder and former Executive Director of Hope House Northern Colorado, Colleen led the organization from vision to reality—establishing its mission, building community partnerships, expanding programming, and developing a strong culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and empowerment. Under her leadership, Hope House Northern Colorado grew into a respected regional resource supporting teen moms on their path to long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Known for her ability to elevate people and teams, Colleen is also a certified facilitator of The 6 Types of Working Genius, a framework that helps individuals and organizations understand natural strengths, improve communication, and increase productivity. She integrates this model into her consulting practice to help teams work more effectively, reduce burnout, and strengthen organizational culture.
Drawing from hands-on experience leading and scaling a mission-driven nonprofit, Colleen supports companies and organizations in team development, strategic planning, culture-building, and leadership coaching. She is especially passionate about guiding teams through growth, change, and alignment—ensuring that both people and processes can thrive.
At the core of her work is a belief that when individuals understand and leverage their natural strengths, teams become more resilient, more collaborative, and more capable of achieving meaningful results. Colleen’s consulting approach is grounded, collaborative, and focused on delivering practical tools that create lasting impact
